Image
Hon’ble Prime Minister’s Webinar on March’01, 2021 My points are given below: Transforming the Agriculture Sector:  Union Budget 2021 “Strategies for Implementation” by: Vijay SARDANA The Hon'ble Prime Minister has rightly said, we meet better approaches and out-of-box thinking in all aspects of pre- & post- agriculture production, research and management to improve the welfare of farmers.  My suggestions are focused on the way forward: Background: After 70 years, Agri-Trade is allowed to function as per the provisions of the Constitution. For 70 years, the constitution was ignored and farmers were exploited and this led to rural poverty and unemployment. Chapter 13, Article 301 to 304 days no barrier should be there in trade and commerce inter-state and intra-state. This reform is the biggest reform in human history and maybe the biggest reform that will impact the maximum number of people and their livelihood. This reform will change all key dimensions of Indian society - i

COVID-19 and Emerging New World Order

COVID-19 and Emerging New Economic World Order  by: Vijay SARDANA American companies greed is responsible for China’s rise and America's fall. Who invested in China the most? Why the invested in China so much - For-profit of their own or for the benefit of America? Think over it.  China's rise is assured, India can also take second place, but for our low ethical standards in business, we will suffer until we put our house in order. Indian managers should realize the benefit of good governance to control short-sighted gains & greed in business management. The fact still is that without innovations, India cannot match China. In the emerging  world economic order, Russia will try to destabilize American fuel and defence industry. China, on the other hand, will try to destabilize western IT, consumer products, textile, chemicals, metal industries, etc. They both will collaborate to gain leadership position in the world order.  The western world will slow dow

Corporate Governance in Corporate World  How to retain market share & market capitalization in a highly-competitive hyper-connected world? By: Vijay Sardana Everyday newspapers are flooded with corporate stories of mis-management and stock market crashing for some reason or the other. At the same time many companies are rock solid and their market capitalization is going up and sales is also going up.  The basic question is: Why some promoters and top managers are involved in manipulations and mismanagement of their own company and ultimately ruin their own goodwill with their own organisation?  Why this happens? As an independent director and member of various policy-making bodies both in private as well as public sector, author do get a chance to interact with many business leaders and investors on a daily basis and what I observed is that issues are most common but there is resistance in accepting the facts that things are going out of control due to severa

'Farmers Day' should be changed to “Farmers’ Martyrs Day”

Image
So far more than 300,000 farmers committed suicide  due to financial hardships as per official records, now Government of India does not even publish this data (who knows it can be too scary)?  ' Farmers Day ' should be changed to  ' Farmers’ Martyrs Day ' By: Vijay Sardana The current political debate in India is who is friendlier to the farmers and which political system benefited the farmers most through policies. The fact is today, farmers in India are exploited by others due to outdated policies and rules which are depriving farmers of their legitimate rights in the money spend by consumers. Political system is not willing to clean the system because political funding comes from these policies which encourage extortion of the farmers. Please answer my questions: 1.    Why 50% of all APMC mandis should not be reserved for the farmers cooperatives and farmers associations, when they are producer of the crop? 2.    Why farmer markets are not allocate
