When I saw this program on youtube, I was thinking, why people like Amir Khan had to do all this? Why he or his research team was not able to study the scientific facts, available in public domain and internet, before going ahead for such programs.
May be technical facts don't make sensations and can't provide TRPs. That is why no TV channel has any science based program. All are filled with fiction, crime, cinema and cricket. Amir Khan being an entertainer also wanted to capitalize this through a subject which touches everyone and essential for life i.e. food.
While doing so, Amir Khan forgot that in this country there are rules to protect public interest. I failed to understand, why he was trying to prove that this country has no rule and anybody can sell anything without any minimum legal approval and without system.
ONLY NGOs and so-called researchers without proper investigations and understanding of science appeared on the show. Unfortunately, many such studies are undertaken to receive foreign funding by NGOs.
In a country where there are strict criteria to provide funding for research, how come such NGOs can get funds so easily.
The fact is no other country wants India to become strong and powerful. Some promote arms based terrorism and others intellectual, social or environmental terrorism. Agenda is how to keep India backward and deprived.
Much foreign funding for such activities comes from the countries those who have trading interest with India. They don't want India to grow and produce more food, otherwise their trading interest will suffer.

Many NGO representatives appeared on the show have their own organic food business. They try to defame the tradition methods of agriculture so that they can sell more. If organic system was so good for India, why Green revolution was introduced by Government of India few decades ago.
Why these donor countries are promoting GMOs and intensive agriculture in their own country but when it comes to India they want Organic Agriculture. WHY?
In India there are millions of poor farmers and there are millions of poor consumers. These farmers want to produce more food so that their income goes up. Millions of poor consumers want affordable food to feed their family. Can they afford organic food? So who needs organic foods? How many farmers have become rich by growing organic foods in India. In fact, people those who were talking about organic farming they were rich people and only handpicked farmers were called to talk about organic farming.

Why not a single research scientists or government official appeared on the Amir Khan's show? Why not even MP or MLA or senior political person was on his show? Why he was not keen to know the facts from the Government of India, State Governments, ICAR, ICMR, NIN, BIS, PFA, etc. According to Amir Khan there is no sensible people and competent people who can talk about agriculture except few NGOs and people those who have no background of agriculture sciences.
Do you think Amir Khan, who is so perfectionist, is so ignorant. I don't think so. Then what was the motive?
There must be agenda. After all he knows how to get maximum commercial gain by raising emotional issues.
What was the need for Amir Khan to do all this. Is he short of money, or he is trying to prove that all are ignorant and idiots except him. Or, he thought he was doing another advertisement or commercial? Why he did all this? He must explain to this nation and people of India.
While doing so, he forgot that in this country, there are many people those who study science, many of them study agriculture sciences. There are regulatory systems in this country.
Pesticides industry is crying why there are so tight rules in India for approval of Agro-chemicals, which are commonly used worldwide.
Amir Khan was trying to prove that this country is full of junk, poison and rotten people and he is sent by god to clean all of that.

Sorry, Mr. Khan, you failed this time.
You underestimated the way this country operates. People may be illiterate but not idiot. If they are idiots, nothing should fail in the market. In fact every movie of yours is not 3 idiots. You also know that your name is not a guarantee of success.
Your research team and those who worked on this episode either misled you or you deliberately decided to spread false information without verifying the facts or by ignoring the facts.
Why you did that, Mr. Amir Khan?
As a citizen I want to know. I am sure many would like to know from you.
I don't know the qualification of Amir Khan, but definitely he lacks scientific logic in his thinking. He must think what he is doing. In fact, all celebrities must think before talking on matters of public interest. They must use their celebrity status for spread good thing in society either through films or their programs or interviews. Talk facts not just perceptions.
Now the question is:
1. Should misleading statements by celebrities either in commercials and in TV programs be allowed, to damage the society at large?
2. Who should pay for the damages and insecurity created by such statements and programs?
3. Should such programs be passed through censor board because it impacts social and economic development of India ?
4. Other than editors, there must be panel of subject experts in every channel to validate technical matters and its contents before it goes on air? Why Star TV failed in this case.
5. Why not a single person from Government of India or any state government invited on such a vital subject affecting food security of India?
6. Why no agriculture scientist or researcher from any reputed institute invited for the show?
7. People those who export food from India to Europe, US, Japan and around the world were not invited to know the facts about Indian Food?
8. Mr. Amir Khan has not event discussed how his ideal organic food system will ensure low cost food to 800 million people suffering due to food inflation.
9. Why he was not keen to project and discuss science and food security issues hurt India's growth.
If this Satyamev Jayate is designed for commercial gain like feature films based on fiction or half truth to develop a impressive story to get TRPs and box office collection, I have no problem but don't mislead the public by distorting facts. This is not expected from people like you, Mr. Amir Khan.
These are my views, yours can be different. But you watch this film to understand how science can be distorted for commercial gains.
